Legendary Leeds pub est. 1715. Described by John Betjeman as "the very heart of Leeds", now a freeho Whitelock's is the oldest pub in Leeds. Originally opened as The Turk's Head in 1715, it was renamed in the 1880s by then owner John Lupton Whitelock as Whitelock's First City Luncheon Bar. Under new ownership since May 2012, we have preserved the rich history and charm that has always been the cornerstone of Whitelock’s, while infusing it with new life and and our passion for great service, food and drink.
